You can download the free database by clicking on the link below. It contains 1000 images from 50 eyes with 20 images taken from each eye. All images are of size 1280 x 960 and compressed using the JPEG2000 codec at a bit rate of 0.5 bpp. The images may be decompressed using the Kakadu software.
The database download area is password protected . You will need to fax the signed Database Download Request Form to +44 (0) 1225 388660. When calling from outside UK, please omit the bracketed (0).
The application must be supported by a recognised professor at the institute/university or an officer of the company in the case of corporate requests, whose details must be traceable via their official website. Reasonable details of the project and expected outcomes must be provided.
A login name and password to our secure area will be emailed to you. The account will expire within 48 hours and the database must be downloaded by then.
